Daniel Cassamajor (aka Coach Cass) is currently the Middle School Boys Basketball Coach at Thayer Academy. He is a Medford native and graduate of Medford Public Schools – Class of 2002. He played on the varsity basketball team all four years of high school and was named Captain of his Varsity team his senior year. Coach Cass began his coaching career only a few years following graduation when he returned to his alma mater to coach the Freshman team, as well as the middle school group for the Medford Travel basketball team.
For over a decade, he has continued coaching across the South Shore for both the Quincy & Rockland travel teams, as well as several AAU programs to assist with skills training. He takes great pride in mentoring youth on and off the court and enjoys opportunities to serve as a leader to these young athletes.
